It must be a positive that all Council leaders have been involved in discussions about the future planning for Hawkes Bay.It is a concern however that the planning documents have not kept pace with the level of development that has taken place over the last few years.Reviewing every 10 years did seem achievable but there are now some big holes in some of the plans.There still needs to be consultation with the ratepayers through due process otherwise we may be open to a dictatorship.
Craig Foss made some glaring blues in his interview on TVHB .Can,t blame him though as he explained he hasn’t been in the Bay that long so could be forgiven for not grasping everything about the Bay yet. It was pleasing to hear him say that National was arrogant in their last term.Question is how do you prevent this 9 year arrogance that we are observing now with the current crop.Nine years and lose your ears.
