The tourist operators,Johnny come latelys on the Marine Parade scene ,sure know how to kick up a rucus .Decades of truck movements to benefit the regional economy are no longer kosha and those who have belatedly planted themselves in prime spots and high spots are throwing their toys out of their highrises .
Catching the toys to throw back at them are the long time residents who understand the issue ,have experienced the rewards and sympathise with those who pay the bills and earn the export income for the country .
Shifting the trucks is a nonsense .There is nothing worse than new Napierites forcing change for selfish reasons .If you don’t like it ,shift.
