Sitting Councillor Tania Wright is out of the blocks and has announced her desire for another term on Napier City Council . Tania has enjoyed council this last term with none of the destructive antics that had been prevalent on a previous   tenure in the city. Tania is a member of Rotary and has been involved in community activities.

It just could be that the Taradale Town clock and its melodic ring may be come an election issue. One of those little local issues that seems to capture and polarise public opinion.In the blue corner the locals who have lived in Taradale forever and in the red corner the new immigrants who want to change things the day they arrive. It is similar to the trucks on Marine Parade.Who will win out on this one?

Does the clock ringing have a consent? No it is pre RMA days so has existing rights to keep ringing .Well thats how I see it .
