More from CHB

Local Body politics is strong in Central Hawkes Bay given the surge in interest for council positions emanating fom this southern farming stronghold.

Two farmers have thrown their names in  the ring for the Regional Council following the announcement that Adrienne Williams was stepping down. Winton Hall from Porangahau and Geoff Hornblow from Ongaonga are in the race and would be prepared to represent CHB Ratepayers.

It is rumoured that the retiring CHB Mayor may also be seeking the seat which will make for an interesting contest. Some hard decisions coming up for CHB residents.
