    New blood arrives at the Regional Council and tries to make there mark very quickly.
To change the name of the councils paper Big Picture to some pathetic urban  cringe name is another move in the wrong direction.
Please give this Wally a message.

Bit of a worry having a special meeting to end the year.If reported correctly the regional council was meeting on Monday 22nd to have a pow wow minus staff and executive members.
The direction of the council is a little uncertain and what is needed is some strong leadership to shake the council into some direction .New management has not improved the situation and if they are not careful they will lose out to the right wing move to eliminate regional Councils which will be a sad situation.
We will not learn of the outcome of this special meeting but I doubt it will help.
The regional councils existence is in danger and the wrong councillors are sitting to save  it from its demise.
